This is going to be a replacement for the cheap bamboo tikis with some nice permanent iron (Steel) ones. They will be painted and distributed around a deck and permanently fixed to the deck railing.

for this I'm using six 1/2" X 1.4" rolled edge strips welded in a hex pattern around a mounting shaft. I've created this plate pattern on my plasma cutting table which will space apart the strips evenly. |
Once done I need to weave a thin strip throughout the studs to give the desired effect. Alongside the iron version is the bamboo version for reference. |

Here is the torch with the strapping woven and tack welded into place. |
I've welded a mounting plate to the bottom and bent the shaft to clear the railing of the deck. It's been painted and mounted into position ready for warm summer nights. |
