The Iron Tikis

This is going to be a replacement for the cheap bamboo tikis with some nice permanent iron (Steel) ones. They will be painted and distributed around a deck and permanently fixed to the deck railing.

for this I'm using six 1/2" X 1.4" rolled edge strips welded in a hex pattern around a mounting shaft.  I've created this plate pattern on my plasma cutting table which will space apart the strips evenly.
Once done I need to weave a thin strip throughout the studs to give the desired effect. Alongside the iron version is the bamboo version for reference.
Here is the torch with the strapping woven and tack welded into place.
I've welded a mounting plate to the bottom and bent the shaft to clear the railing of the deck. It's been painted and mounted into position ready for warm summer nights.
